SB 4, the bill to rezone religious and college land so that it can be used for affordable housing, needs to pass in the Natural Resources Committee of the state Assembly on Monday. Please call the members of that committee to urge them to vote for it. [Hyperlink “Please call the members of that committee”]
You can call after hours, over the weekend, and leave a voicemail. Call even if you are not in their district because they represent all Californians when they sit on a committee. You do not have to say where you live in California as it is not relevant.
After the natural resources committee, it will go to the appropriations committee and then to the Assembly floor for a final vote.
SB 4 will be heard in the Assembly Natural Resources committee on 7/10 at 2:30 PM.
