The Scriptures in Ephesians 6:12 tells us “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (KJV). One way we wrestle against wicked powers is by practicing the subversive act of resurrection. And during this Holy Week, MHCH’s cofounding director Jill Shook shares an excerpt from her book written by Shane Claiborne. Claiborne details the ways God’s people in Philadelphia have wrestled to bring justice and safety in the form of housing the homeless.
