MHCH has been living out our mission of organizing, advocating, and educating. What a joy it is to see the fruits of hard labor!
The organizing efforts of MHCH, in partnership with local rent control advocates and coalitions, has brought in enough signatures to have a rent control initiative on the November ballot. Youth at Pasadena Foursquare have been advocating for affordable housing solutions with Pasadena’s Housing Task Force. MHCH’s cofounding director, Jill Shook, will be teaching and conducting a one day housing institute at Kingdom Causes Bellflower this Saturday, April 9th.
