We at MHCH take seriously the prophet Micah’s call to “act justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Rezoning religious land for affordable housing is on Pasadena’s city council agenda for May 23rd. We believe that doing acts of Justice is a form of worship, and we are urging all of our supporters to write to city council and to spread the word to other members of their congregations. Our city’s homeless count reveals racial and ethnic disparities caused by systemic racism, and we are seeking to reverse that. Pasadena’s local preference policy allows people displaced in the last ten years to have a high priority for affordable housing in our city.
